#East India Postage adhesives 4 Anna used on a private envelope canceled by #JAL COOPER Type 6 ; typically a diamond of dots framing a capital “C” and a number below , “C” stands for Carnataka (Madras circle).

A variation of basic type 12 with capital “C” over a number. Here a smaller diamond without C.














#East India Postage adhesives  Half Anna used on a native envelope canceled by #JAL COOPER Type 13; typically composed of two concentric circles containing “N”, “W” & “P” evenly spaced. Inner circle being divided into section by a series of parallel lines with a number inserted in the centre. Duplex has the name of TOWN in between the concentric circles & central space  showing the Day and Month of posting.
